Professional History
Dr. Cohen earned her medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME, and completed her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Cohen then served 3 years in a rural community of North Carolina as a recipient of the National Health Service Corps scholarship. Dr. Cohen is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Pediatric Associates of Hampden County in 2009.
Working with families to keep their children healthy is an important part of my job; discussing nutrition and lifestyle choices that can keep kids and families thriving is just as important as treating illness. One of my favorite things about being a pediatrician is having the privilege of getting to know families as I watch my young patients grow up.
