Our Physicians

Elinor D. Kelliher, M.D.

Elinor D. Kelliher, M.D.

Dr. Kelliher earned her medical degree from Tufts University in 1995 and completed a Pediatric Residency at Baystate Medical Center in 1998. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. Kelliher's interests include special needs, autism, IEP evaluation, allergy, breastfeeding and international and travel medicine. She has been practicing with Pediatric Associates of Hampden County since 1998.

She is married with two sons and enjoys running, hiking, climbing mountains, bird watching and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America.

Dr. Kelliher's regular office hours are Monday and Wednesday mornings and Friday in the West Springfield office.

 


Michael S. Freedman, M.D.

Michael S. Freedman, M.D.

Dr. Freedman earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 1993 and then served with the US Navy as a general medical officer. He completed his residency at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2001. Dr. Freedman is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Hampden District Medical Society. He joined Pediatric Associates of Hampden County in 2001.

When not in the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, in addition to reading, running, playing tennis and platform tennis (paddle); and is a former President of The Field Club of Longmeadow. 

Dr. Freedman's regular office hours are Monday through Thursday in the West Springfield office.

 


Albert J. Callahan, III, M.D.

Albert J. Callahan, III, M.D.

Dr. Callahan graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1980. In 1983, he completed his pediatric training at the University of Connecticut Combined Pediatric Residency Program. Since then, he has practiced general pediatrics. Dr. Callahan is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He joined Pediatric Associates of Hampden County in 2003.

While out of the office, Dr. Callahan enjoys spending time with his wife, an elementary school teacher and his four children. Biking, hiking and tinkering around his 200 year old house are also activities he enjoys.

Dr. Callahan's regular office hours are Tuesday through Friday in the West Springfield office.
