Paul W. Taylor, D.O.

Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, July 1971. He then spent 1 year as a rotating intern at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford, New Jersey. He then served a three year pediatric residency at Brooklyn-Cumberland Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. On July 1, 1975, he came home. Having been raised in West Springfield, he established our practice in Westfield, MA. He has enjoyed its growth over the years to see it become one of the premier pediatric practices in Hampden County. He is a member of the Hampden District Medical Society and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Dr. Taylor enjoys cooking, making wines, woodworking, and outdoor work improving his acreage. He and his wife have 4 adult children.

Dr. Taylor retired from seeing patients in December 2013.

Michael K. Posner, M.D.

Dr. Posner, after many years practicing the full range of general pediatrics, has settled into the care of children with behavioral and school difficulties. Following completion of his medical training at the Harvard Medical School, he completed his pediatric residency at the University of Chicago. He also spent two years of public service at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, New Mexico. Since completing his training he has additionally practiced in Chicago, Illinois and Amherst, Massachusetts. He joined Pediatric Associates of Hampden County in 1983.

Dr. Posner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His professional interests include the integration of behavioral health into a primary care setting.

He lives with his wife and two cats in Florence, where they enjoy frequent visits from their grandchildren. For relaxation, he enjoys native wildflower and plant gardening and spends as much time as possible in pursuit of outdoor activities on the waters and hills of Western Massachusetts.

Dr. Posner retired from seeing patients in December 2014.
